This new touch screen enabled joystick officially called the “Hyper Stick Pro Otomedius Gorgeous Version” is set to be released this September in Japan for the Xbox 360. The joystick is designed specifically for Otomedius a shoot-em-up by Konami and will cost what would convert to about $270 USD.

Not that I would buy one of these over a custom made stick with real arcade parts but I found it interesting that it these X-Arcade Dual Sticks were being sold in a Frys store. I had no idea these were sold retail. I thought you could only order these online. I saw this in the “Productivity Value Software” section by all the PC games which was pretty far away from the console video games section. They were being sold for $129.99.

Hori has just announced a new Arcade stick called the Hori Real Arcade Pro EX. This is right on time for the many upcoming fighting games due this year.

The Hori Real Arcade Pro EX has a headset port and all 8 “buttons” found on the xbox 360 control pad. The official Hori website lists the price at 12,000 Yen which is about $113.20.
