You should check out some of the personalized and modified sticks that people are making. I think most people like to use Sanwa parts.

Amazon has pre-orders open for these right now... It does not hit retail market until February 20 1009.

On a different note, I have had the pleasure of toying wit one of these, and I would suggest passing unless you intend to mod it. The stick DOES feel better than the Hori EX 2 models, but it cant hold a candle to an HHRAP.

That being said it will retail at 79.99 USD and that is a hefty 30 dollars above what you can get the EX2 for.

The HRAP's retail at just over 100 USD for PS3, and 129.99 for Xbox 360.

Comparing them, there is alot more real estate to be had on the surface of the HRAP, and it comes with a Sanwa JLF pre-installed. The 79.99 SF stick is purely MAdcatz parts (and I think we all know what that means)

All the same, this case has great potential for modification, with quick disconnects, and plenty of room for your favorite Sanwa and Seimitsu parts.

I will likely pick one up in Feb just to have the pleasure of making a good stick with it.

Hope this has been some help. Take care.

Thanks for the honest feedback. The current product is even better than that OLD prototype! Hope you're looking forward to it!

The quality on that older stick is nowhere near what we have in store for everyone!
