After many tests, this is the best 6 button layout I've designed. The picture is real size at 230 ppp. It's designed for western-type pushbuttons, like the ones sold by Industrias Lorenzo. The layout is based on Japanese layouts but it's improved in the placement of the buttons and the much greater distance between the buttons and the stick, necessary for a natural and comfortable position of your arms. The first button is moved to the front with respect the second, for an increased angle than that on the standard layout. The third is also moved to the front, just a little closer to the player than the second (the fifth finger is short). In some layouts, this one is moved forwards, which is an error. The second row is moved to the left as much as it is possible (1 mm left between the nuts of the closest buttons (first and fifth) so as to let you use your thumb for the fourth button in four button games. I must clarify that this layout fits my fingers if you use (per row) the following fingers (named from the thumb to the little finger): second, fourth and fifth (and the first (thumb) in case of four button games, as I have mentioned).
